And who among us can resist a great home decor \u201cideas\u201d show?!<\/p>\n<p>And just look at these questions, listed on his website under \u201cBE ON THE SHOW\u201d:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Do you have a SCARY basement? (yow!)<br \/>\n\u2022 Is your housing LIVING IN THE PAST? (ouch!)<\/p>\n<p>A favorite Burlington store used to give people the ability to search around and pick out SALVAGED items \u2014 from doors and windows, to one-of-a-kind fireplace surrounds or wide-board wood flooring. So being in the \u201cwindow shade\u201d business, many in our firm shouted out \u201cWhat a great idea!\u201d when it was mentioned that The Nate Berkus Show did an episode on \u201cWindow Art\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Now, we\u2019ve all seen some lovely antique stained glass windows and \u201coohed\u201d, secretly wishing to remove them and take them home. Nate is less felonious: he discussed taking salvaged windows, shutters, even screens \u2014 and \u201crepurposing\u201d them. Whether as art to hang on your walls, or in use as room dividers, the watchword was \u201cTake something OLD and find a NEW purpose for it!\u201d The possibilities are only limited by your imagination \u2014 and your finds.<!--more--><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-251 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/cellularwindowshades.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Nate-Berkus.jpg\" alt=\"Nate Berkus\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more \u201cgreen\u201d than recycling \u201conce-disposed\u201d items?!<br \/>\nA friend sent this useful link <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robomargo.com\/windows.html\">http:\/\/www.robomargo.com\/windows.html<\/a>. The website has MUCH about decorating with reused items. I looked through the section dedicated to windows \u2013 and what great items and ideas people have come up with and implemented! From a bed \u201ccanopy\u201d to end tables, from a kitchen pot rack to a little greenhouse.
